Описание: PixelMusica produced this video for the Missionary Community of Saint Paul the Apostle and Mary Mother of the Church (MCSPA) in October 2019, in celebration of the Extraordinary Mission Month of the Catholic Church.

It was no easy feat trying to capture the extraordinary work of MCSPA within a 3-minute video, but we took on the challenge.

The narration of the video was undertaken by Fr Francis Teo, a priest of MCSPA who was born in Malaysia, and an ASEAN scholar who was studying law at the National University of Singapore.

He found his calling in serving the people of Africa and left everything behind to answer the call of Christ. You can read more about his vocation story here:

About this production:
In May 2014, we set out to tell the stories of an international community of Priests and Laity from the MCSPA, who would leave home and family to bring the light of love to those in need.

We traveled for 35 days over 20,000 kilometers across Kenya, Ethiopia, Malawi, and South Sudan with over 200 kilograms of equipment, capturing their stories, and then spent the past year ploughing through interviews to weave together stories we hope would be worthy of the sacrifices the missionaries have made.

This is just one of the videos in our series, and we pray that it will be a blessing to the community, and an inspiration for others to follow in their footsteps.

We are grateful for the generous support of donors who helped pave the way for our trip to capture these amazing stories.
