We enjoyed our Thousand Islands cruise with Uncle Sam Boat Tours in July 2018. We boarded the Island Duchess at the Lower James Street Dock in Alexandria Bay, New York, for a one hour tour of the 1000 islands. It was pretty interesting seeing some very expensive homes on small islands, even some tiny houses on the smallest isles as well. We first saw Casa Blanca on Cherry Island, then passed by the Thousand Islands Bridge. We then saw Nobby Island, then St Elmo Island, Florence Island, the tiny Hub Island, and then the highlight was seeing the exterior of the Boldt Castle. Due to time constraints of our land tour, we did not get to see the inside, but we look forward to visiting next time we're there! We also passed by Ina Island & Deer Island.
It was summer and as you can see there were many people enjoying water sports such as jet skiing in the St Lawrence River.
We also saw some other tour operators' ships sail by including those by Gananoque Boat Line (from Canada) and Rockport Boat Line.
