Описание: There's a lot of talk on the internet about the headlight of the Yamaha FZS600 Fazer headlight. Unfortunately it's not very positive. Due to poor quality material, the reflective layer of the reflector releases, causing the light output to drop below acceptable levels. Next to that, only one side of the headlight generates low beam. The other half is turned on to create a high beam, which makes the headlight look asymmetrical.

𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
0:01 After heating the headlight, pry open the unit
0:27 Remove rubber caps and reflectors from the headlight
0:45 This is the cause of the very bad light output: burned reflectors
0:51 Remove the plastic heigh adjustment hardware from the reflector, you'll need it later on
1:01 Paint the hardware black
1:10 Mount the projectors on the brackets
1:50 Place the plastic hardware
2:00 Mount the black plastic hinge with some glue in the bracket
2:22 Please note! Glue is not necessary any more on the new mounting method.
2:30 Place the assembly in the housing on the height adjustment screws
2:40 Clean everything up before closing the headlight
2:57 Heat the headlight and close it up again
3:10 Check the huge difference of the low beam output. On top: original burned reflector
3:17 Measurement. Xenon retrofit: 3.20 Lux to 0.49 Lux. More than 6 times brighter!

Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement on night vision because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon.
