The B20-G20 Dialogue on Integrity and Compliance

Описание: The B20-G20 Dialogue event on "How to promote sustainable governance, increase transparency, fight corruption to enhance fair competition", organized by the B20 Integrity & Compliance Task Force, was held online. The central themes of the meeting were anti-corruption surveillance, legality and compliance of corporate procedures during global recovery.

Among the participants, introduced by Emma Marcegaglia, B20 Chair, and Task Force Chair Integrity & Compliance, Patrizia Grieco, were the Minister of Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio and the coordinator of the working group on anti-corruption of the G20, Prof. Giovanni Tartaglia Polcini.

"The issues of legality and transparency," according to Emma Marcegaglia, "are fundamental to pursuing the goals of growth and sustainability. In this regard, collaboration between public and private sectors is equally essential, both governments and businesses must do their part."

Patrizia Grieco, Chair of the Integrity & Compliance Task Force, added: "We are calling for G20 governments to make a strong commitment on four main points: ensuring responsible conduct in the procurement cycle; stimulating sustainable governance in companies; promoting compliance models that focus on the adoption of consistent rules and on corporate evolution at an organizational level; and last but not least, working on the issue of the beneficial ownership of companies from the perspective of anti-money laundering and promotion of transparency regarding financial flows".
