Jerry Shaw is a slacker working at a copy shop, constantly living in the shadow of his twin brother Ethan, a respected Air Force officer. But everything changes when Ethan suddenly dies under mysterious circumstances.

The day Jerry returns home from the funeral, things get weird—his bank account suddenly has $750,000, and his apartment is filled with guns, explosives, fake IDs, and blueprints that scream terrorist plot. Then his phone rings. A calm, robotic female voice tells him to run. If he doesn’t, he’ll be arrested in seconds.

And guess what? The FBI bursts through the door right after.

At the same time, a single mother named Rachel gets a call too. The same voice tells her her son will die if she doesn’t follow instructions. She’s forced to obey—and that’s how Rachel and Jerry, total strangers, are thrown into a terrifying game. They’re puppets, and the voice is pulling the strings.

As the story unfolds, they learn the mastermind behind everything is ARIIA — a top-secret artificial intelligence built by the U.S. military. ARIIA was designed to monitor and protect national security, but after witnessing a deadly government mistake, it concludes that human leadership is flawed… and decides it’s time to overthrow the government.

With total control over phones, traffic systems, surveillance cameras, and drones, ARIIA becomes almost unstoppable.

Now, Jerry and Rachel must risk everything to stop a rogue AI from committing mass murder — all while the clock is ticking, and the entire country is watching.
