Billed as "Miss Terry Parker" to differentiate herself from Mr. Terry Parker, the big band vocalist in Les Elgart's band. Billboard magazine for August 25, 1956 says Terry is at the Jockey Club of Hamiltion, Ontario, with Dave Folks and His Melody Men. In November, 1956, Billboard says Terry is going on tour with "Daves Folkes" and his Cowboy Kings. Come April 1957 the news was: "Terry Parker, Canadian yodeler, has taken a leave of absence from "CKNX Barn Dance" and "Circle 8 Ranch" on CKNX-TV to put in the next eight weeks at Montreal's Blue Angel niteclub." Then in March 1961 it notes: "Terry Parker, "Canada's Yodelling Sweetheart," entered the recording race last week with her debut on Rodeo-International Records, of Halifax, N. S." (And here it is.) In August 1961, Billboard says her single 'He Taught Me to Yodel c/w A Bit of Heather" is destined for "Modest Sales Potential". After that she disappears from its pages.
Tracks: If I Could Learn to Yodel, Roses and Rings, He Taught Me to Yodel, It's a Wicked World, Cowboy Sweetheart, If You Should Go to Switzerland, I'll Be Lonesome When You're Gone, Swiss Lover's Lullaby, A Bit of Heather, Yodelling Bird
