The complete soundtrack heard during Halo 4's ninth level, Midnight, exactly as its heard in-game, in order.
All music composed by Neil Davidge & Kazuma Jinnouchi.
REUPLOAD: Fixed a mistake regarding the music used in the Infinity cinematic. Replaced with higher quality track, and properly labeled as being "Sacrifice (end)" rather than an unreleased track.
00:00 Sacrifice.
Plays during the intro cinematic.
01:23 117 (1st segment).
Plays during the majority of the trench run in the Broadsword at the beginning of the level.
05:55 117 (2nd segment).
Plays during the end of the trench run in the Broadsword, as the player takes out the AA guns to clear a path for the defending UNSC fleet.
10:49 Sacrifice (end).
Plays during the Infinity cinematic, as Infinity punches a hole in the Mantle's Approach's hull, allowing the Chief to fly inside.
11:34 Approach (light).
Plays almost immediately after the Infinity cinematic, and continues for a while up until the level's wave defense section. This track didn't make it onto the official OST.
17:58 Approach.
Plays during the wave defense section as the player holds off Promethean forces while Cortana locates the Composer, and continues up until the player escapes through the portal afterwards. This track didn't make it onto the official OST.
22:35 Arrival.
Plays during the game's final series of combat sequences, as the player makes their way between platforms in the firing chamber to help Cortana lower the shielding around the Composer. The version of Arrival used here is slightly re-arranged compared to the OST version, and has a different ending.
27:44 Immaterial (3rd segment, no choir).
Plays once the above track, Arrival, has finished playing. As Arrival does not loop, it immediately feeds into this track if Arrival has finished playing. Interestingly, if the player reloads a checkpoint at any point where this track is playing, then the reloaded checkpoint will start playing Arrival again, with this track still playing once Arrival has finished.
31:53 Revival (light alternate).
Plays during the short in-game cinematic that plays after disabling the Composer's shields, where the Didact fires the Composer at Earth, beginning to compose the citizens of New Phoenix, Arizona below.
32:17 Immaterial (3rd segment).
Plays during the game's finale, immediately after the above cinematic, as the player fights their way over to the Composer.
34:01 Revival (start)/Nemesis.
Plays at the beginning of the Finale cinematic, where the Didact confronts and ambushes the Chief.
34:39 Nemesis.
Plays during the rest of the Finale cinematic, as Cortana's rampant personalities stop the Didact from killing Chief.
36:15 Green and Blue (1st segment).
Plays during the outro cinematic.
