Four Up Class - 2024 Draft Horse Classic, Grass Valley CA

Описание: September 20, 2024- I discovered these video clips by accident when I was purging the folder of Sony camera video of the 2024 Draft Horse Classic that I had already edited and strung into finished videos. I had apparently missed these so that is why I am publishing this months after the event .

This string of video is from the Friday night show, Four Up Class, at the 2024 Draft Horse Classic in Grass Valley, California. I’m with Annette‘s barn, Big Horse Works, so I get some amazing video opportunities with the barn pass she gives me - - thanks, Annette!

These shots are from my little Sony camera. I used it to to video Annette’s horse earlier in the Gentlemen’s Pleasure Class then I stayed at the show to record some of the other classes that followed. The Sony camera has a better lens for action than the iPhone camera but it’s getting old so I had to change batteries often and the auto focus wasn’t working like it used to so I missed A LOT of good shots during the classes and didn’t have time during this class to move to a different angle at ground level. Ground level shots give a better sense of how big these horses and the hitch wagons are; HUGE; It’s really only during the lineup when the headers are in front of the leaders that the size of these hitch horses is apparent.
