This week, I stumbled onto a super fun technique using beeswax crayons as a resist on the gel plate—and it all started with my kids' crayon drawings! When I rolled paint over them on the gel plate, the wax resisted the paint, leaving behind a grungy, ghost-like image that’s beautifully textured and perfect for mixed media.

But here’s the best part: the original crayon-covered paper looks just as amazing after printing. That means one simple texture rubbing gives you TWO unique sheets—perfect for collage, art journals, scrapbooking, card making, and more!
