S. Korea's auto exports go up but domestic car sales drop

It was a mixed bag for South Korea's auto industry last month as production and exports increased but domestic car sales dropped.
That's according to the latest trade ministry figures that show car production jumped two-point-two percent on-year in November, exceeding 390-thousand units.
So far this year up to November, 3-point-6-7 million cars have been produced, but that is down four percent from last year.
Better sales in North America and Europe, meant auto exports grew 1-point-six percent on-year last month.
But car sales *within Korea dropped slightly by four-tenths-of-a-percent.
Meawhile, sales of foreign brands in Korea went up, but home-grown brands saw a drop of zero-point-seven percent on-year to around 138-thousand units.
