As one of the veteran shikigami on the Heian-Kyo battlefield, Kiyohime has long fought alongside countless Onmyoji, her unwavering flames and serpent shadow ever present through the seasons.

Though the versions have changed time and again, we still often see players choosing her with burning passion, charging into battle without hesitation.

However, as the combat environment evolved, her tactical space has gradually become constrained —
Now, it’s time to infuse her with a brand-new soul.

🌸 Onmyoji Arena Test Server Update — October 31
Thank you to all Onmyoji who continue to participate in the Onmyoji Arena test server experience!
The test server will be updated on October 31, and will be open daily from 18:00–20:00 (limited hours).
This week, we’re bringing an early preview of Kiyohime’s complete skill rework!
Please note: all test content is not final and may undergo further changes.
If you have feedback or suggestions regarding the test server adjustments, you can share them through the upcoming “Kyoto Battle News” column — we’ll actively review and communicate progress based on your input.
🔥 Kiyohime — Complete Skill Rework
As one of the earliest shikigami on the Heian-kyo battlefield, Kiyohime has long accompanied countless players with her burning flames and serpentine shadow.
Though the meta has evolved, many Onmyoji still choose her with unwavering passion.
However, as the combat environment has changed, her tactical potential has gradually been restricted—
Now, it’s time to breathe new life into her fiery heart.
Designed as a mage who excels in sustained single-target duels, Kiyohime’s core experience lies in binding enemies with her serpent chain and applying constant fire pressure to create a suffocating rhythm in battle.
This rework preserves that core concept but completely rebuilds the “Fire Poison” mechanic.
She can now trigger stack-based explosions and gain skill haste buffs, allowing for faster, more rhythmic combos.
Additionally, her third skill now combines mobility and self-healing, significantly improving her survivability and allowing her to move more fluidly during skirmishes.
Her new ultimate ability grants her crowd control, pulling power, and zone-cutting utility, enabling her to lock onto key targets and reshape teamfights.
We hope this series of adjustments will retain her signature “high-frequency single-cast” charm while expanding her mechanical depth and tactical possibilities, making the “Heartbound Flame” shikigami an inescapable burning presence on the battlefield.
🩸 [NEW] Trait — Fire Poison (Passive)
When Kiyohime’s skills deal damage to a target, they apply [Fire Poison], dealing magic damage per second.
This effect stacks up to 5 times.
At 5 stacks, it deals bonus damage, increases all Fire Poison damage, and grants cooldown reduction and movement speed to Kiyohime.
🌫️ Skill 1 — Toxic Miasma
After a brief delay, summons a poisonous mist in the target area.
Enemies inside take magic damage per second and are slowed.

🔗 Skill 2 — Serpent’s Bond
Links Kiyohime to the first enemy shikigami hit with a Serpent Chain.
Subsequent casts of Burning Flame have increased range, firing two tracking flames that pursue the linked enemy.

🔥 Skill 3 — Burning Flame
Unleashes burning fire toward a target, dealing magic damage.
Every third cast of this skill is enhanced, allowing Kiyohime to dash toward the left stick direction and restore HP upon casting.
🌟 Ultimate — Tensei Metamorphosis
Kiyohime breathes flames in a designated direction, dealing magic damage and knocking back enemies in range.
Enemies in the center area closest to her are stunned.
If there is no existing Serpent Chain, she automatically links to that target.
If a chain already exists, the linked target instead receives the same stun effect.
