“We Need to Get Our Poop in a Group” - Northern Tool Legends Build: Student Challenge

Описание: Kyle Petty takes us to Tennessee for Month 4 of the Legends Build. This month at LaVergne High School, reality showed up. What started as another high-energy day in the shop quickly turned into a gut-check moment. When progress was reviewed, it became clear: They’re behind. Not a little. A lot.

And the question nobody wanted to hear had to be asked: Will this bike make it to the track by June 6th? Could this be the first Northern Tool build that doesn’t hit the reveal date? Then one student said it best: “We need to get our poop in a group.”

From that moment on, the switch flipped. The tail section and tank skin must be finalized, parts are heading to Dave Perewitz before Daytona, the swingarm remake, radiator mount, and Blockhead exhaust install are underway, and an electrical overhaul is incoming. With only ten days before major pieces head out, the pressure is very real.

Huge thanks to Drag Specialties for stepping up with critical parts right when the team needed it most. And in March, Jeff Zielinski from NAMZ is coming in to tackle the electrical beast. April? We’re going full Biker Build Off mode with industry heavy hitters jumping in.

This build is hard. Even for pros.

For the first time ever, missing the reveal date is on the table.

But we also saw something else this month, a team that got punched in the mouth…and decided to swing back. They’re regrouping. They’re grinding. They’re burning the midnight oil. And now they need you.
