Elevation Gain: 5,600 feet
Est. Time: 9.5 hrs+ for most hikers

OR, an easier round trip hike, to get to the first alpine lake:

Colchuck Lake Trail - “Washington’s prettiest alpine lake”
Distance: 8.9 miles
Elevation Gain: 2450
Est. Time: 4.5 hrs+ for most hikers

🧾 Northwest forest path required
⛺️ Permits are required for overnight camping
🥾 This is a hard hike for many. Please be prepared if you attempt this hike.
🐐Mountain goats are common
