A quick video from when I was comparing my Mayones Regius 7 and my KxK 7DC to see, or rather hear the tonal differences.
The recording is pretty loose and completely unmixed. Each section of the song was recorded in single takes and doubled.
The signal path is simply Guitar, Line 6 HD500, NI Komplete 6, Protools.
I'm still looking for the right guitar tone so if anyone has any great metal patches for their HD500 send them over!
