My '72 Fender Precision hasn't been played a lot in a while. The original '72 pickups produce almost no output. To get the signal from the bass to record on my audio interface, I had to turn the Gain on my Marbass Combo Head II to full, AND put the Line Out to 3/4 .. not to mention how much I had to boost the signal through my audio interface..
To fix this, I bought Fender Custom Shop '62 pickups and installed them in to my '72. They work great, and sound awesome!
In this video, you see me play along to the original track recordings of my former band 'Rezonans' .. song 'Jazz Fly' .. The video cuts back-and-forth between the original '72 pickups and the new '62 pickups.
The original release of the song 'Jazz Fly', can be found in the link below.
My bandmates and I recorded and produced the album collectively .. and released it ourselves independently.

In creating this video, my first 4k video ever .. I learned a few things I should not have done .. and now would do differently. As a result, there are some synching issues here and there with the audio. Sorry about that!
Also, I was not looking to get perfect takes while playing along to the original source tracks.. Just wanted to get a couple of takes recorded so they can be compared.
Thanks for watching, or at least, reading through this description!
