To be effective as a leader or coach of leaders we must have the skills to interact with others and produce changes in their behaviors, actions, and results. This opens the view of what happens in what we call the “We” space of action. But how we interact in the We space to produce results requires certain skills in ourselves, in what we call the “Me” space.
In our prior webinars, we’ve explored the inner dimensions of Me that determine our actions, including our care, commitment, and experience of our many senses. When we move from Me to We to produce coordination of action with others, groups, and teams we encounter the demands of interaction – presence, connection, communication, and coordination. We produce something shared out of the interaction – the future – or we don’t.
We produce trust, moods, possibilities, and commitments that are opening or closing for future results and our experience of value, satisfaction, and meaning.
In this session, explore the place where we produce what is shared with others – care, meaning, commitment, and the future – or we don’t, and how this can guide us in our leadership and coaching.
