Transfagarasan Highway... Biker's Paradise

Описание: The Transfagarasan Romania is touted by many as the best road in the road, so on a recent recce trip with Canary Motorcycle Tours Slovenia, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to ride it again - nearly 10 years since I rode it during the around the world trip TeapotOne.

The Transfăgărășan Highway or DN7C is a paved mountain road crossing the southern section of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. It takes you along an incredible pathway passed Poienari Citadel, the home of Vlad the Impaler, alongside the Vidraru Dam, before taking you along an incredible twisty valley and up into the mountains. Bears abound the roadside, huge birds soar above, the place is simply incredible.
