Originalmente recluta de 4 estrellas y en el ranking top-100 de su clase, Molinar ha sido comparado por su entrenador Ben Howland, con un juego y dinamismo similar a Russell Westbrook. Recordemos que Howland entrenó a otrora MVP de la NBA cuando este dirigió a UCLA.

One of the pleasant surprises from Latin America this NCAA season has been the Panamanian Iverson Molinar. The point guard has the keys to the car at Mississippi State in his second-year campaign in the competitive SEC Conference.

At the time of this report, Molinar is averaging 17.4 points per game with impressive shooting splits: 50% from the field, 52% on 3s plus 4.5 Rbs and 3.3 APG (12G). The 6'3 tall PG has an advanced offensive game divided between his midrange game,, athleticism and prowess going to the basket added to the remarkable improvement seen from three point land.

Originally a 4-star recruit and in his class's top-100 rankings, Molinar has been compared by his coach Ben Howland, having a similar game and dynamism to Russell Westbrook. Howland coached the former NBA MVP, when he was head coach at UCLA.
