August | Vlog #4 | Hillwalking in the Northern Corries | Scottish Summer | Mushroom Season Begins

Описание: Sorry about the loud wind! In August we went up to the Northern Corries in the Cairngorms, which are the Eastern part of the Scottish Highlands. It was a cold and windy day with a few shower, which I hadn't quite anticipated, since the weather report said the weather would be good. Big mistake. Always bring an extra fleece or scarf (which I didn't do) and something to protect you from the rain! I had to wear my rain poncho at times to keep myself warm. With that said, it was a very enjoyable walk and we pulled up to the shore of Loch Morlich for a picnic afterwards. August turned out an even wetter month that July. There was plenty of rain and even quite a bit of flooding. And I get the impression that mushroom season started very early this year. I don't mind, I love mushrooms! I hope you enjoy this Vlog and the nature scenery in it! ☟☟☟
