What (is GEARS)?

Built on the same technology used by biomechanists and filmmakers; GEARS is the most advanced motion capture solution developed specifically for golf. 

Archerfield's 360fps GEARS motion analysis system is the only one in Europe.

Why (have a GEARS Session)?

Improve Performance: From the information gathered we will create a blueprint for the most efficient and effective way for you to swing the golf club: Increase Distance, Improve Accuracy, Improve Consistency/Variability.
Reduce the risk of injury: Understand how your body likes to move then encourage a swing pattern that is safe and sustainable (e.g. Often when people retire they play more golf which results in not being able to due to injury).
GEARS Sessions help us spot if you’re doing anything technical that may lead to injury down the line.

How (do we help)?

Methods used are:

1. Physical Screening (TPI): to see how your body likes to move
2. Equipment Analysis: through advanced Club Data from GEARS, TrackMan & our experience/observation
3. Technical Evaluation: correlating experience with data from GEARS/TrackMan/SAM BalanceLab to help you active your goal

Who (is GEARS for)?

GEARS is for all levels and stages. It's simply an analysis tool - our job is to filter the information to help players achieve their desired goal, wether that be playing in a Ryder/Solheim Cup or simply to enjoy 19 holes with friends into their 90’s ;)
