Time management isn’t your problem—energy management is. ⚡️
I’m heading back to medical school, and the biggest lesson I’ve learned is this: you can “have time” and still get nothing done if your brain + body are running on empty.
Your focus and decision-making rise and fall with sleep, circadian timing, and recovery. When you’re depleted, every task takes longer, feels harder, and you make more mistakes.
My simple energy-first approach:
Protect sleep like it’s a class. (It’s the foundation of attention + memory.)
Work in sprints (60–90 min), then take a real break (5–15 min).
Match the task to the moment: hardest work during your peak hours; admin work during low energy.
