Ben and I were lucky enough this summer to take the most epic road trip so far. We thought up the idea in summer of 2024 after dropping Mays off at camp for 2 weeks. Normally, while she is at camp, we stayed local and went about our daily routines. But we thought, next summer, why not plan a big trip while she is away for her last 2 week session as a camper? So we did. Ben knows my love language is not riding in a car for more than 4 or 5 hours at a time and planned our flights, car rental, and hotels along the way from New Orleans along the Gulf Coast down to Key West. It was perfect! Enjoy part 1 of our journey: New Orleans!
