Tropical Storm forming in the Philippine Sea - Tropical Weather Bulletin

Описание: The Western Pacific continues to dominate proceedings today, with five different tropical cyclones depicted by our analyst team. Tropical Storm Sonca made landfall earlier in central Vietnam, and is dying off as it moves further inland. Tropical Depression 23W is developing, and is likely to intensify significantly as it reaches the Luzon strait, and enters into the South China Sea. 23W is likely to become a typhoon thereafter, and eventually impact Hainan, China. Tropical Depression 23W is expected to deliver up to 650mm of rainfall over parts of northern Luzon.

Tropical Storm 21W is speeding off towards the northeast, and 91W is expected to feed off from it and become a storm of its own as it moves erratically over the open waters of the Western Pacific.

Karl has weakened substantially and is barely traceable as a tropical cyclone this evening, just off the coast of Mexico in the Bay of Campeche. The storm is likely to produce up to 200mm of rainfall in parts of Tabasco and possibly in Veracruz.
