• Structured tools with validation
• A reasoning loop (model → tools → reflection)
• Quality control via a reflection rubric
• Stop conditions and retry policies
• A LangGraph state machine with conditional routing
By the end, you’ll understand:
• Why LLMs are not reasoning engines
• How control flow lives outside the model
• How to engineer reliability instead of hoping for it
