Winter Hill & Rivington circular, preparing for the Coast to Coast Walk

I did a 10 mile hike up to Winter Hill which borders Bolton, Blackburn and Chorley in the North West of England. Winter Hill is 465m high and is located on Rivington Moor which is part of the West Pennine Moors.
The day was misty so the view was limited however on a clear day you can see most of the North West including Blackpool tower, Jodrell Bank Observatory, the Lake District National Park and Snowdonia in Wales.
