Описание: The Gloucester Tree is in Gloucester National Park in Pemberton Western Australia. It is one of many trees "pegged" as fire lookouts in the towering Karri Forest. It was originally named the East Tree but changed to Gloucester Tree after a visit by the Duke of Gloucester in 1947 when he was Governor General of Australia. There are three climbing trees near Pemberton: The Gloucester, Bicentennial and Diamond trees. They are all around 60 to 70 meters to the top!
