Dr. Anisa Visram on Aided Cortical Testing and Objective Hearing Tests for Infants

Описание: This is an interview with Dr. Anisa Visram about the work she did on the Ladies in the Van project and the Aided Cortical test, now available for the Eclipse by Interacoustics.

Dr Visram is a researcher and audiologist with a special interest in improving clinical practice in paediatric audiology. As the lead author on the well-known "Ladies in the Van" study, she has worked with families and infants with hearing loss across the whole of the UK to develop improved objective hearing tests for babies, to understand how well they can hear through their hearing aids. This research used the ManU-IRU stimuli and the Eclipse evoked potential device to perform aided cortical testing and the findings of this study have been integral in supporting the development of the aided cortical module for the Eclipse.
