Making a ceramic treasure box with snowflake crackle glaze (ASMR, no text and voiceover)

Описание: Developing and working with a snowflake crackle glaze (or ice crackle glaze) has been my obsession for years. It was my very first glaze I mixed myself and I have run numerous glaze tests with variations in glaze recipe and with various clay bodies to find a working formula - but the result is worth it.
Every time I open the kiln, it’s like ‘wow’ again.
The shallow lidded treasure box is one of my favorite forms to make. Perfect hiding place for everyday treasures. Its still also practical and as well foodsafe as the inside is glazed with transtaprent glossy glaze.
I fit the lid carefully to have a very tight fit. I like to play with variations and contrast with glazed and unglazed areas especially with this black stoneware clay.
