Namaste and welcome to Nyima Vlog!
This is Day 2 of our Mustang Tour, and in this episode, we travel from Tatopani, Myagdi all the way to Shyangbochen, passing through breathtaking locations like Roopsee Waterfall, Lete, Marpha, Jomsom, Kagbeni, and finally Muktinath (Chhumig Gyatsa) — which lies at an altitude of approximately 3,800 meters (12,467 feet).
Along the journey, we witnessed dramatic changes in landscape, from green forests to alpine terrain, enjoyed scenic apple gardens of Mustang, visited ancient monasteries including Marme Lhakhang (Narsing Gumba), and performed a spiritual puja with our revered Khenpo Nyima Dorje Lama.
Some key highlights of the day:
• Roopsee Jharana break
• Apple gardens at Marpha and Jomsom
• Entry into Mustang District
• Prayer flag ceremony near Muktinath
• Reaching Shyangbochen by evening (~7:00 PM)
