Experience a peaceful walking tour through Nara, Japan.
In this video, we walk from JR Nara Station along Sanjo Street, circle around Sarusawa Pond, and continue to the historic Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
We pass through the First Torii Gate and walk the sacred approach before entering the shrine grounds. Inside, you can see the famous 1,000 bronze hanging lanterns, beautifully preserved and displayed during the special viewing route.
You will also see a Goshuin (temple stamp book) moment during the visit.
After exploring Kasuga Taisha, we walk back along the approach, return to Sanjo Street, pass through Higashimuki Shopping Street, and finish at Kintetsu Nara Station.
Please enjoy the natural sounds and atmosphere of Nara.
⚠️ The Five-Story Pagoda at Kofuku-ji is currently under restoration and cannot be seen. It is being carefully restored using traditional carpentry techniques that have been passed down since the Nara period.
