Along with being superb working dogs, they have also found their way into homes as companion dogs, making excellent pets for active owners. While some of these mixes have companion parents like the Aussiedor with a Labrador parent or the Aussiedoodle with a Poodle parent, others are mixed with big working dogs, such as the Texas Heeler or Husky or a Doberman too. While all these dogs have unique traits, their drive to work and natural intelligence is pretty much a constant.
