"It's YOUR Fault I can't love you!" Was the MARTYR PARENT PLOY used on you as a child? A term created by my colleague, S.P. Crawford, the 'Narcissistic Martyr Parent Ploy' is a self-gratifying SCAPEGOATING STRATEGY utilized by a COVERT narcissistic parent to gain attention for having such a "difficult, problem child" (similar to Munchausen by proxy). In this video, I also discuss how family, friends, etc are inoculated into the 'scapegoat (false) narrative' created by the covert narcissistic parent for their own gratification and how GASLIGHTING ties into 'Martyr Parent Ploy' tactics (see chapters below).
