I've personally been studying Japanese for a few years now and would have loved more tips and guidance when I was just a beginner. I used to think I could only learn from textbooks, but now I do most of my studying with video games, particularly RPGs.
I noticed an interesting indie game that I think can help beginners learn hiragana as they start their journey learning Japanese. Please check it out if you would like to begin but want an interesting way to do so.
