Описание: Moragahakanda Dam, Sri Lanka (3 Feb) - This dam has been in the planning for many years and cost over half a billion dollars to build. Surprisingly, little funding has been made available for the rescue of animals being stranded on the soon-to-be-submerged islands. With little funding being provided, the Department of Wildlife Conservation has organized many volunteers and ten boats (as of 4 Feb), to conduct this task. SavingGanesh.org's crew participated and were impressed by the dedication of our new friends - all animal lovers.
