If you checked your calendar in 2026, you will know that tomorrow is Groundhog Day. Most Americans are familiar with the ceremony where a guy in Pennsylvania, wearing a top hat, releases a ground hog into the open. If the ground hog sees its shadow, we are due for another 6 weeks of winter. I wanted to take a look at how Americans celebrated this interesting ritual in 1941.
