Valorant LAN DISASTER Just Got Worse

Описание: The NA LCQ has become the biggest disaster in Valorant history as it was forced to halt play yesterday and suspend all matches today after a series of COVID false positive test results have thrown the event into chaos.

The NA LCQ was already under heavy fire by 100 Thieves and others for basically forcing out the two Australian teams, and had to change from the heavily criticized single elimination format...but in the last 2 days it has become one of the biggest disasters in esports. Not only did Riot make players who traveled for a LAN play on servers anyway, but now a series of supposed false positives have completely halted the event before the first round was even finished.

Several FaZe Clan members like Babybay got back a series of rapid COVID tests showing negative and positive results, which means even if they were false positives they are forced to quarantine and can’t be on stage for the Valorant LCQ. And Riot initially tried to get FaZe Clan to play from their HQ instead, but the PC’s there are so much better than the underpowered machines being used at the LCQ that both teams protested the unfairness, and Riot just wound up suspending the entire LCQ.

So when will 100 Thieves, FaZe Clan, and the rest of the NA teams actually get to play again in the Last Chance Qualifier, or will the LCQ be forced to restart entirely? No word from Riot yet on when the LCQ will resume, but it has easily become the biggest disaster Valorant esports has ever seen.
