Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin. I honestly cant believe this day has finally arrived where I can share with you something which has been a labour of love for the past year and a half and launch my new protect and hydrate sunscreen.

Finding the best sunscreen for face and body can be a challenge which is why I wanted to create a sunscreen which will act as a moisturiser, antioxidant serum and sun cream all in one and work for almost all skin types.

This is a chemical sunscreen which comprises of 3 filters which have been listed below alongside vitamin e and niacinamide to provide antioxidant support.

Filters Used:

Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (Uvinal A) - Is a new generation, chemical sunscreen agent that's designed for high UVA protection and high photostability. It gives sun protection in the whole UVA range (320-400 nm) with peak protection at 354nm. It can be used up to 10% worldwide

Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (Tinosorb S) - One of the best sunscreen agents known today. It is a broad-spectrum (covers the whole UVB and UVA range, 280-400 nm) chemical sunscreen agent with peak protections at about 310 and 345 nm and unlike older UV filters, it's very photostable. It hardly deteriorates in the presence of UV light and it's also useful in stabilizing other less stable sunscreen agents.

Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate - A clear, oil-soluble, "cosmetically-elegant" liquid that is the most commonly used chemical sunscreen. It absorbs UVB radiation (at wavelengths: 280-320 nm) with a peak protection at 310nm.
