In this lesson students will create landscape and animal drawings inspired by traditional Japanese Byōbu or "Wind Wall". Usually made of paper or silk, Japanese Byōbu screens are used to separate rooms or enclose private spaces and are particularly appreciated for their unique artworks. Artists will learn about value change and composition.
Materials: Crayons and Markers, Cotton Swab and Water, Watercolor or Construction Paper
