Granting cabinet rank, he said, is not merely symbolic but carries significant financial and administrative benefits, including housing, staff, vehicles, and other facilities. This practice undermines constitutional accountability, fiscal discipline, and the democratic structure, especially when the State claims financial constraints while extending costly privileges to political appointees.
