Types of disasters discussed include floods, hurricanes, sea level rise, high winds, and fires. The role of mitigation after a disaster and the balance between archaeological preservation and other needs post-disaster were considered. In addition, advice was given on how to report archaeological finds uncovered by a disaster to the State Archaeologist or the CT State Historic Preservation Office.
