GoPro High Altitude Weather Balloon to 105,000 FT.

Описание: This is a condensed video of our high altitude weather balloon flight that took place in Canandaigua, NY just outside of the Rochester New York area. The flight traveled to an altitude of 105,798 FT. (32,247m) over the Finger Lakes region of New York and landed southwest of Syracuse, NY. This is a condensed video showing the entire 2 hour flight in just under 4 minutes. Surface winds were quite high for launch, so we performed a "running launch" to ensure the atmospheric balloon was directly above the payload when we released it so it wouldn't swing and bounce off the ground. Pauses in the telemetry overlay are due to the data collector pausing while it sends a radio transmission to report its position back to us on the ground.
