The Taylor 'Custom Catch' NAMM Exclusive 'AA Charcoal Sitka / East Indian Rosewood' Grand Auditorium Acoustic Electric Guitar showcases Taylor's exceptional craftsmanship and design prowess. These guitars are highly regarded for their ease of playability and stunning aesthetics, making Taylor one of the world's top acoustic guitar manufacturers. The NAMM-Exclusive Custom Catch series is known for its exclusivity, limited availability, and use of premium materials, bindings, and hardware. These guitars are unveiled annually at the NAMM trade show, and each Custom Catch is numbered for authenticity, offering a unique opportunity to own a collector's piece for a limited time.

This custom Grand Auditorium guitar boasts top-tier features, including Indian rosewood back and sides, a striking charcoal black Sitka spruce top, innovative V-Class bracing for enhanced tone and sustain, a Crelicam ebony radius armrest for added comfort, a Venetian cutaway for easy access to higher frets, and ES2 electronics with a built-in TaylorSense unit for optimal sound amplification. Custom appointments further elevate its aesthetics, including a single-ring paua shell rosette and ebony-bound soundhole, Crelicam ebony body binding, koa purfling along the back, sides, fretboard, and peghead, koa/black/paua top edge trim (including fretboard extension), koa/ebony backstrip, and Ascension fretboard/peghead inlays in mother-of-pearl and pink abalone. The gloss-finish body and antique gold Gotoh 510 tuners with black buttons add to its overall allure.

Recorded using Ear Trumpet Edwina and Milab VM-44 microphones, Solid State Logic SSL2+ audio interface, Logic Pro X and Waves Reverb and Mastering plugins, with an emphasis on capturing the true voice of each guitar.
