Is a Nissan Leaf enough car for you? Jay from Drive EV thinks it may well be and sets out to prove it in a 160KM range test round Great Lake Taupō. Once that's in the bag we will charge up to 80% as fast as we can as if we were on a roadie and had places to go.
Tests are currently in winter conditions with rain, cold and wind so right now this is a worst case test. Jay is not an efficient driver either, he thinks electrons are cheap and sustainable so you may as well enjoy them. Cabin heaters, seat heaters, AC, cruise control are all used to prove this philosophy.
