Season 1, Episode 7 of Ontario Park, this time it's about Mara Provincial Park. Mara is located minutes from Orillia on Lake Simcoe. Mara is known for it's very large sandy beach and beautiful sunsets over Lake Simcoe. We went for a weekend in August and it was hot! In the summer the beached gets packed quickly and we suggest to either go early in the day, or later at night to avoid the day use crowd, as it get's busy.
