With only e10 petrol available here in Ireland there are more reasons to end up having to drain the tanks or check the flow of petrol to the carbs, so to make it easier (and cleaner) I took the power supply out of a scrap computer and wired it to allow its full amperage at 12v to go through a connection that fits to the fuel pump. Now it takes me less than 5 minutes to empty both tanks at any time with no mess.
Just take off the seat, plug the power supply into the fuel pump, pull the fuel hose off the carbs and into a can and flip the switch.
