RERA | SC Seeks Responses Of States/UTs Which Haven't Established RERA, Appellate Tribunals

Описание: In 2019, the Supreme Court of India declared that the Real Estate Regulatory Authority or the RERA set up under the Real Estate (Development and Regulation) Act 2016 will provide parallel remedy to the remedies already available to the Home buyers Under the Consumer Act and the ones made available under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code post the 2018 amendment. However, the Court has had to since chase the State Governments with demands for status reports to assure implementation of these RERAs and RE Appellate Tribunals.
