About This Episode:

Checkmate Station is a space station and headquarters of Rough & Ready, a group of Outlaws. It is located at the L4 Lagrange point of Monox. The racetrack Fool's Run weaves through the station's exterior.

The station was formerly named PYAM-FARSTAT-2-4 and operated by Pyrotechnic Amalgamated to supply their workers on Monox with fuel and other resources. Today it is used by Rough & Ready, a gang which uses the station and offers "fuel, supplies, and a bit of entertainment"
