A new housing initiative has been unveiled in West Kempsey to address the housing crisis, and is part of a renewal project to enhance living standards in the region.
The plan aims to construct 32 new social and affordable housing units within the next 18 months, with $7.6 million funding being provided from the Department of Community and Justice. The units are designed to accommodate singles, couples, and small families.
CHL State Manager for NSW, Megan Davidson, discussed the project with 7News (Mid North Coast, North Coast, and Taree).
