Описание: We're really starting to wish that we had left more time to see more of Normandy before the weather really turns as there is just so much to see and do. In this video we leave Etretat and drive to the D-Day landing beaches where we stay over in the town of Courseulles-sur-Mer - aka Juno beach - where more than 14,000 Canadians stormed the 8-kilometre stretch between Courseulles-sur-Mer and St. Aubin-sur-Mer on 6 June 1944.
We also visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France, that honors American troops who died in Europe during World War II. It is located on the site of the former temporary battlefield cemetery of Saint Laurent, covers 172.5 acres and contains 9,388 burials.
