We look at the following equipment made by Bofors in this video:
Bofors 40mm Gun: This iconic anti-aircraft gun, developed by Bofors in the 1930s, has been widely used by navies and armies worldwide. Known for its reliability and high rate of fire, the Bofors 40mm is effective against both air and ground targets. It has been continuously updated and remains in service in various upgraded forms.
Archer Artillery System: The Archer is a modern self-propelled artillery system based on a 6x6 Volvo all-terrain vehicle chassis, equipped with a fully automated 155mm howitzer. Capable of firing within 30 seconds from a stop, and vacating the position within 30 seconds of firing to avoid counter-battery fire, Archer provides high tactical and strategic mobility.
BONUS Munition: BONUS is an artillery-launched, fire-and-forget munition designed to engage armored targets. Each shell carries two submunitions that deploy over the battlefield and use sensors to detect and attack targets independently, making BONUS effective against a wide range of armored vehicles.
RBS 70 NG (Next Generation): An upgraded version of the robust RBS 70 man-portable air-defense system, the NG variant features enhanced targeting optics and night vision capabilities, making it highly effective against aircraft, helicopters, and UAVs at various ranges.
Bofors 57mm Naval Gun: Primarily used by navies, this medium-caliber gun is designed for high rates of fire and precision, suitable for engaging surface, air, and coastal targets. It is particularly valued for its effectiveness in anti-missile and anti-aircraft roles, with installations on various classes of ships.
Mark 3 Naval Gun System: The 57mm Mark 3 is an advanced ship-mounted gun system designed to perform anti-ship, anti-aircraft, and coastal bombardment operations. With a high rate of fire and the ability to fire smart munitions, it offers naval forces a versatile tool for a range of tactical scenarios.
